NIGEL MARCHANT
Managing Director
Nigel Marchant is an Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning Producer. Having produced the first series of both Downton Abbey and The Philanthropist for Carnival, he moved inhouse to become Executive Producer in 2011, then in 2017 was promoted to Managing Director. Prior to joining Carnival, Nigel accumulated nearly 20 years of production experience on numerous dramas.
Since joining Carnival, Nigel has Executive Produced series four, five and six of BAFTA and RTS award nominated Downton Abbey for ITV/Masterpiece, as well as the sequel films Downton Abbey and Downton Abbey: A New Era. Nigel has also worked as Executive Producer on all five seasons of RTS award nominated series The Last Kingdom and its sequel film Seven Kings Must Die which was released earlier this year on Netflix, as well as Belgravia for Epix and Belgravia: The Next Chapter for MGM+, Jamestown for Sky One and Co-Executive Producer on Dracula for Sky.
Nigel is currently Executive Producing The Day of the Jackal and Lockerbie, both for Peacock and Sky, and All Her Fault for Peacock.
